My Story
Like so many impacted by COVID-19, my career in hospitality was eliminated after 22 years. It has been interesting, to say the least! After the initial feeling of shock wore off, I was grateful to have the summer "off". Then the feelings and thoughts of what's next started to take hold. I couldn't see myself back in the typical office environment.
After much contemplation and considering the advice of good friends, I couldn't deny photography as my passion.
During this "figuring out" stage, I went to our neighborhood restaurant's website to order dinner and three of the dishes from the menu I ordered were no longer offered... Why are they still on the menu? A lightbulb went off in my head.
I can update websites for small businesses and post on social media for them!
There's nothing more frustrating than going to a store, whose website is listed as closing at 6:00, only to show up and find they have been closing at 5:00 for months. Or a service that is no longer being offered, etc.
